The de Beers were amazing clients putting so much trust into our challenging vision of timber ceilings and concrete .
Their beautiful home was renovated top to bottom bringing a contemporary feel into their Pt Chevalier bungalow.
This was one of the most fulfilling projects we have worked on and although we were sad to complete it, the end product is really something special.
We used black stained timber veneer finish with caesar stone cloudburst concrete tops and a hidden appliance shed with pocket fold away doors to create a clean look.
Having the glass window/splashback allowed us to maintain the view to the sea and allow natural light into the space.
The addition of the timber battens to the ceiling gave a defined dining and kitchen area but also created a connection to the oak flooring .
Sliding doors into the living area with reeded glass for privacy while still letting in the light are another stunning feature, with the black framing complimenting the kitchen and other black elements in the living space.
The bathrooms main feature is the solid concrete bath by Concrete nation , placed into a wet area .
We complimented this with concrete look tiles and white handmade subway tiles, whilst adding an Oak custom made vanity and Aged iron tapware for some soft contrast.
